Last year they lost 3 horses at the stampede to dehydration--absolutely unforgivable.

Yes, I enjoy seeing the horses pracing around done up if they look happy. We actually had carriage rides on my street at xmas--big cyldesdales and they looked so sad--when you got close you could see they were dirty and unhappy. I love a happy horse, love watching them jump and challenge themselves.

ITA on the the bull/big mac thing--bulls are so regal--If I were rich I'd let them wonder my fields all day just to watch them lol

ITA that Callie used Mark--she wanted a kid and likely figures he will lose interest and she can have exactly what she wants for herself.

Any "Must Sees" for the fall line-up? I'm annoyed they are moving "The Good Wife" to Sundays at 9 to compete with the final season of "Desperate Housewives." I don't have a PVR and my VCR won't work anymore with digitail so it looks like I will see desperate housewives in between commercials and later online.

Doesn't seem like a lot this yr..Blue Bloods in back (Tom Selleck) but unless the writing improves, I don't see it lasting--They "solved" a whole season built up storyline in one eppy (under a cancel threat) so it was a huge let down

GA is one more yr for me--once Der/Mer go I'm gone too and Der's tantrums are ridiculous over stuff Mer does...the way he takes off so unnecessary.

I'm watching the last season of weeds now on showcaae--they really did make her an unlikeable character to go from desperate mom to hardened criminal with little rooting power--wow. That said, they don't back down and they have guts to take it where they have. I still need to watch nurse Jackie--everyone seems to like it, have to find it on here.

Any other shows?

The new fall shows start back next week -- woo hoo! The only new one I'm interested in is Person of Interest. I loved Michael Emerson on Lost, and it looks like a cool premise.

I'm excited for the return of Castle, the 2 NCIS shows, The Mentalist, and Blue Bloods. Hawaii 5-0 was good last year, and they are having lots of good guest stars this season, including Terry O'Quinn (gotta love those Losties!).

We're giving up on The Good Wife -- from everything I've read, TPTB are trying to sex-up the show. Bleh. It was fine the way it was. I guess putting it opposite the housewives means CBS wants their own Wisteria Lane?

I'll miss Lie to Me and Human Target (silly, but entertaining). None of Fox's new shows appeal to me, so I guess I'll be skipping that channel.

Yeah, I heard that about good wife too but my guess is, it's only the first eppy. I saw Julianna on Letterman and she said she even told hubby not to watch it. I trust her to stick up for the charater though, so I don't think it will go too far. I still think it will be about the legal stuff and I found it so good last yr. (Loved Mike J Fox in it) I'm disappointed they put it at 9 on Sunday I liked it at 10 and I was watching DH. Now that will have to be online and I'm guessing I will miss some

Blue Bloods I liked but they rushed though the Blue Templar scandal so hoping with the renewal they can slow the pace.

You might like Paranthood Tuesdays at 10 one of the few family dramas left. Yes, person of interest looks interesting.

I know Mom loved Lie it Me --I was surprised they let it go. I tried Castle a few times, just couldn't get into it. I think now, I'll have to start at the beginning to see if it sticks with me.

It amazes me how many once A-list stars are now doing guest appearances.

I saw Ashton on Ellen Yesterday, strange guy, I think 2 and a half men will be out of it's misery soon :-)

Pan Am...I think I have to watch it once just to see what the deal is. The ads make it seem like a weird through back show but it has to be modern or it won't survive...
