Lol cindy... we have a list of 118 right now... haven't sent out the invites yet... they are still being made in Florida by my sister in law. We've done everything in Mickey/Minnie for her. Her room is half red and half white w/ a Mickey border running between the two at light switch height. The border looks like a film strip w/ Mickey in each cell. Her sheets are Mickey and Minnie and she's got a Mickey and Minnie in her crib. I can't wait to take her to Disney world! btw- no argument here w/ the lack of "lets get high" talk !

Jen-Sounds like you are in full party planning mode. Yeah, some of the newbies in the Yard are not really my cup of tea. I had a three day weekend and didnt know what to do with myself. On Saturday I went to the history museum in Saint Louis, some interesting exhibits, like a Lindbergh exhibit and one on the botanical gardens in the city. Sunday I never made it out of my pjs, but I did get some stuff done around the house, though my taxes are still waiting. Today I drove to Springfield, IL, only like 2 hours away, and visited the Lincoln Library, I have been there many times, but I am a huge Lincoln fan, so each time is enjoyable. Somehow I managed to not work in any time at the gym this weekend.

LOL Jen-All good, I skipped a few weeks last month due to sickness and my trip. I just did my taxes and 1. I wonder where all my money went and 2. I wish my rebate was bigger, but it is like that every year.

neira: 2 words..New York! LOL neira our little road tripper..very cool! I've done my taxes too and my rebate goes straight to home insurance so I don't even get excited anymore..lol
Toronto has a diamond exhibit at one of their museums that I'd love to see but it ends in a couple weeks so not sure I'll make it. I wish it was closer.

I took our stuff to the tax guy... can't wait to see what he comes back with... I've been coming up w/ things to do w/ the refund... a new tub.. we're probably going to have to work on our porch cuz it's tile (i'm assuming original 1920's) and it's cracked... ah the joys of winter... and I'd of course love to save some.. and i've love to go to the beach... wait this just turned into a 'yeah rigth you're not going to get that much back' list.

LOL Jen. Just like my last hundred bucks..I may as well just hand the cash to my vet:-) I don't mind one bit, just a fact of life with older kitty but I gave up the dream list long ago. Nothing ever goes the way you plan it so you just go I guess and hope there's enough at the end of the day. ie. I could never plan a party for 118 people. 1) I don't know that many people and 2) I'd say something nasty by night's end because someone is bound to get on my nerves lol

Oh I"m sure I'll say something nasty before it starts lol! Actually as sad as it is... MrDills sister won't be here so I can't see that it will be that bad. She tends to take over that sort of thing. I apparently got MrDill thinking about a tub cuz he told me this morning he looked into it and apparently Empire claims to have the lowest price for a bath fitter type of thing. I guess we'll just have to find out and see. It's something we have to do eventually b4 we move so why not now?

Okay, prepare for a rant. I ordered some shoes from Endless.com late last night because they had them on "clearance." I had bought these sandals from Amazon.com last yr but they were a half size too small so I vowed to get them in the "off-season" and make them more comfortable. So at 2am this morning (too much coffee) I ordered them. Two seconds later I found them on Amazon.com for $10 cheaper --same shoe, same size. I tried to go back and cancel my order with endless but surprise, surprise you can't cancel online orders by yourself. So I called and "we've already shipped it out." Funny that I didn't get that notification til MUCH later in the day. But wait...they're supposed to have a price "guarantee" (match and beat anyone on the web...oh wait, EXCEPT Amazon.) So I just wasted $10 U.S They CAN be returned but it means getting my Dad (who lives in the states and who I sent them to) to print out a return label/return form and a) He doesn't have a printer and B) He'll never remember to do it anyway. I'm so mad at myself and them. Myself for not doing enough research and them for their lame price "guarantee." So I told them I would spread the word about my horrible experience to make myself feel better:-)
Ok, I'm done.

She must be close to walking on her own eh Jen? When she does, look out nothing will be safe..lol That's the age I give up on kids, they outrun me..:-) Cool time though. Next it will be No, No, No! LOL
It's nice that you still make time to see your friends. Makes things more fun.

Oh we're all about 'no .. don't touch that... put that down... MADELYNN! NO!" Yeah I try to get together w/ my friends.. but sometimes it's hard, with work schedules and all. And the weekends are the only time MrDill and I really have together so that adds to the fun of figuring out schedules.

Just saw Slumdog Millionaire. Very good story. I hesitated to see it because I'm not an India fan (too many yrs of watching amazing race) but I did truly enjoy it. More about the story than the place.
