neira: I'm dying to try King Cake (it's how my friend tried to lure me to NO.) King cake and donuts..lol I hear you on the junk food. Last night I sat and ate a bunch of nachos and dip. Not exactly helping with the weight.
It's just so frustrating being so physically limited in what I can do. I'll check out the gym by me in nicer weather but I can hear it now..."You can't use half the equipment and we don't have time to help you." familiar refrain. I get it, but I don't know how to solve it.

The books were so good.. the movie was good but didn't follow the book to a T.. but still good in its own right. So my daughter is getting another tooth I think... she was up 4 times last nite, midnite, 2, 3:50 and 5... ugh... and now i'm exhausted and don't wanna be at work. I don't know what I really want to give up for Lent... not that we're super religious but I like to see if I can do it.. and I'd give up fast food if I knew that wawa wasn't considered fast food. If it is... I'll give up biting my nails... lol.

Wawa? Jen, I actually took a trip to see my brother on the east coast just so I could get some cheese filled pretzels at the Wawa. Oh and I got to see my baby nephew and help my brother's family move to the Midwest, but really I went for the pretzels. We have decent gas stations around here, but nothing like the Wawa. Too bad I really dont get out there now that my brother lives 15 minutes from me.

So wawa is a pretzel? lol A pretzel at a gas station? I'm so confused...lol
See neira? You shouldn't have helped him move:-)
I wish I could head out west and visit my aunt/uncle. My cousin (their daughter) is having a little girl in May and it's the only time I can hold babies (when they are tiny) since by about 6-7 months they are crawling away from me.
The airfare is crazy though, this is when I need a car (or neira to come pick me up) :-)

Wawa is a super deluxe gas station. They have a ton of good food, sandwiches made to order and hot soft pretzels filled with various cheeses.

Doing what I can to help Jen.
Cindy-I would love to take a roadtrip your way. I am actually thinking about a trip to Michigan for a presidential library, but I would love to take a trip up the east coast in the summer.

HA.. I'd gladly give up my sleepless nights. Maddie didn't nap yesterday at grandmas... so she only had the hour nap she had for me in the morning... so she slept thru the nite last nite. Only heard one peep from her and that was it. I on the other hand am getting sick so I was up cuz my throat hurts. joy. Any good plans for this weekend? I want to clean. ... what? did you just read right? Yes... I said I want to clean... considering I couldn't tell you the last time our kitchen floor was mopped... yeah I'm one of those people who just doesn't have time to do it and the few precious hours we have as a family on the weekend are spent other ways... except this week.. it's starting to get to me lol.

Oh I know Jen, I did my floors a few days ago and honestly, I really don't see a difference anyway. The rest of my place is a disaster. Everything just seems to get piled on top of everything else because I don't have enough space so I end up just ignorin g it all.
Yes, I had the sore throat last week, I like to think of it as winter's parting shot to me...so here's hoping March warms up, and the colds/sore throats disappear. I'll probably just head to the library on Saturday

Yup, sore throat only lasted a day....I'm one of the ones where stuff doesn't seem to drag on. I seem to get sick once every 2-3 years. Meanwhile the people with the flu shot still get sick because it never protects against the right strain. I'm terrified of needles so I never go there. The doctor wanted to give me a shot last year when I cut my toe pretty badly, I was like NO WAY. I just packed the thing with antibiotic and I was good to go. Probably just pure luck or someone making up for the fact that I did all that crap as a kid so I get a pass for now..lol
Quiet weekend...so it's now like 6 more weeks til PB. I watched Brothers and Sisters last night and the woman who played Caroline on PB (and plays Holly now) was sooo good. Reminded me how good she was on PB too.

Hey guys. Wow I was just over at twop.. and the yard has been dead for like 2 weeks! Still fighting this cold.. Maddie's fighting hers.. and so is Daddy. We're just one healthy family (insert sarcasm here). We didn't actually do cleaning (read dusting and vaccuuming) this weekend... we did more of straightening up and organizing... which we desperately needed. We also got a head start on some of the birthday party necessities.. like Minnie mouse plates and napkins.

LOL I know Jen, it's because those of us now over here were driving that board. I almost posted the link to here again but I noticed the BOLD kid had been around and after his little "I'll get high" speech, I'm thinking he wouldn't fit in over here.
Catperson seems to have dropped completely out of things and I think Peanut just has her hands full with her family stuff. I do wish she would come over so we'd know she was ok but she knows we're here, I emailed way back when. When PB ends I'll personally invite a few but I really like the group we've got here, it's a nice balance. I'm happy to welcome all, but I refuse to read "Man I'll just hang out and get high" on this board..lol
(No warning by TWOP mods on that one apparently they just care that it's in the right thread:-))
Go Minnie Mouse! Love her, good theme. Did you figure out how many are actually coming Jen?
