You have to understand that EVERYTHING is different in Bush Alaska. There is one meter for both of our apartments, so, as of right now, no way to separate the bill. We use the same wiring.

Wow Eagle, that's a problem. If there's one thing I don't like to have under someone elses' control it's money/bills. The good thing is, with her being gone, you know what YOUR average bill is so you can show her yours and make her pay the difference. Is there some sort of "council" up there that can help you resolve it? If not, a big snowbank to throw her in?:-)
I feel for you. I've had neighbours the last few months that sound like they are coming through my ceiling. If I say anything I'm the %$$$ neighbour. It's really screwing up my sleep though and I'm getting to a point (They also have an adjustable bed that I hear) They are up from 6am-2am so I get no peace. I'm at my wits end.
The moral of the story is, when you get back to civilization, buy a house with neighbours a decent distance away and tell them to buy their own hydro:P

Cindy- an adjustable bed? like one of those ones where the foot goes up? Eagle.. wow.. I don't like neighbors to begin with (luckily ours is pretty good now that the dog doesn't bark all the time they're gone), let alone having to get together to pay bills. yuck.

Like one of those craftmatic things on t.v. or like a hospital bed. The woman has M.S and I think the guy carries her around. Hence, I can't say anything. Makes me look like a ^%$$ for bringing it up. It doesn't help that they guy is the size of the jolly green giant.
So I see Katherine Heigal is leaving Grey's Anatomy. Can't say as I'm surprised

LoL... I feel bad for laughing Cindy.. but maybe you can say something to the landlord? I mean if they're keeping you up at all hours of the night.. you have every right to say something. Yeah I'm not that surprised that she's leaving.. or TR Knight for that matter... just one more reason not to watch.

*sigh* Yeah, it's a pain and I really try to be good, but like I said, she likes to create problems and I'm not sure I'll ever see a dime of her half of Nov's bill. Anyway, you guys made me laugh with stories of your neighbors;) Thanks for that. I can put myself back into my little box now.

Eagle- take her to court.. vote her off the island.. kick her a$$ .. anything to make you feel better. Keep asking her for it.. eventually she will get sick of hearing about it and pay up... Anyone have any good plans for this weekend?Everyone and their brother is going out Saturday so we're gonna go to lunch Sunday I think. Other than that nothing special here.

LOL Jen I was going to say vote her off the island too, or better yet, since she's not there right now, tell the plane not to bring her back:-)
I've got a Brad Paisley concert on Friday night. Won the tickets of course, don't really care about going that much, but it's a night out and I can be my own valentine:-) Buddy is always my valentine (I don't give him a choice since I feed him and change his litter box:-)) He loves me as much as any guy would (or that's what he tells me when I feed him:-P ) Just please don't buy me chocolate. I so don't need it around here when it's just me and all I want to do is eat a whole box.

Heh, thanks guys. All WONDERFUL suggestions;) Trust me, when there's a vote, I'll be there:) My first course will be Jen's "annoy the living crap out of her until she pays" routine. I will politely request and mention it until she is SO sick of hearing about she pays up. Well, I hope it works.
Anyway, BRAD PAISLY! Seriously? I am SO jealous as I think he is absolutely adorable. *sigh* I love country music and Brad Paisley and Alan Jackson are two of my favorites. They have an incredible amount of artistic integrity.
And Cindy, I hear you on pets being as loyal as any guy;) J/K I have two furry friends of my own so I get it;)

Oh Eagle, I won't tell you then that I won tickets to Alan a couple months ago and though I love his songs. He is a total SNOOZE to watch. He stands there just playing and hardly talks..lol I would have let you go for free... Yeah, I'm in the draw to upgrade to front row for brad but I SUCK at winning draws. I'm much better at the straight "call in and win" things. Draws leave too much to chance..call in, you get to know the DJ's patterns and it can give you some good shots. LOL at neira "accepting applications for a Valentine." I guess that means laptop boy is out of the running??:-) Good for you! Buy yourself a nice treat!

Hey Nelra, thanks for the invite, I will come out and play for awhile. I just got caught up with reading everyone's news for the last little bit that this board has been up. I am not trying to bring up old subjects, but, I got zinged by the mods over at TWOP for really stupid things and have barely written on it since. I do not need someone telling me how WRONG my opinions are, they are mine, you don't have to agree with them, but they are mine.
I got the first two seasons of PB for XMAS from Dad and Mike and I just finished watching them last night. Man, what a good show!!!!! I will miss it, especially the way it was back then. You could have never convinced me I would ever have felt sorry for Bellick, like I did by the time he died this season.
Anyway, hope more people make the transisition, I will be lurking and writing soon!!

Ever have one of those days where you just feel like crap and don't wanna go to work but you do anyway... bad call. Of course it ends up to be one of those days where nothing is working right .. ugh. I wanna go back to bed...

Jen: It's so windy here all I wanted to do was curl up and never get out of bed. The only good thing is the higher temp. Now did you break the stuff or was it already broken?:-) I feel for ya..kinda hard to escape the everyday news. I don't know how the stations manage to report the doom and gloom everyday--that would get to me. There's good stuff too though, did anyone see the fireman in Aussie giving the Koala bear bottles of water? Poor thing had 3rd degree burns but they got him to a wildlife preserve where he is recovering...
Jex--I think most here have questioned the mods at TWOP. Power-hungry little group I think. Out of control. This is the anti-twop. I'll take their spoilers but they can keep the crap..lol
Now we just need Emma, Peanut and Catperson over here to round us out.

Cindy, if I didn't love you, I swear . . . You have Brad Paisley tickets AND went to see AJ in concert *sigh* If only . . . I know that Alan Jackson isn't the most exciting performer in the world, but that's kind of why I like him. It's just him and his voice, ya know? Nothing too fancy.
Jwex, I hear you on TWOP. I get supremely annoyed that rules seem to change in a blink. Every mod does things differently and seems to do things in a random way (maybe because they just skim posts, not sure). I've expressed opinions before and got zinged 3 times (just warnings, nothing major), but there is still something annoying about me (a 32 yr old woman) being told what I can and cannot say. And, trust me (and I'm sure y'all will back me up), I have never written anything I would consider controversial or over the line (and I've bitten my proverbial tongue on more than one occassion). Anyway, like you, I haven't even BEEN to TWOP in an age. I've just kind of lost interest I think. Of course, a lot of that has to do with PB being on haitus and the downward spiral of the story arcs (IMHO of course).
