looks like I'm off to see Lady Gaga on Friday--not my style but won and can't sell so it's an experience I guess:-)Another storm brewing for toronto so not the best time to make the trip...Touch returns friday night..(gaga night) FINALLY.

well, no gaga for me, storm was so bad we didn't even make it to toronto and she didn't cancel..thank god I didn't pay for seats! On a side note, remember Neira?? She just got engaged! I remember her discussing a couple of her dating adventures here so congrats to her on never having to date again! lol

more snow and cold temps here...in what is the longest winter EVER...I'm thinking of inviting myself to Fish's place in good ol' texas for a little bit of surf/sand and bbq....

brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr soooo cold here...is it Spring yet?? This winter is endless. Hope you all find yourselves in warmer places..missing our girl Fish but thinking she has a lot on her plate....not really doing much with the extreme cold..vegging out with the tv and eating too much junk...not good. Loving my Touch, disappointed in Vampire Diaries and enjoying my standby, Grey's. Not finding any good new shows (though I hear those who like creepy love "the following") and lol at twop getting themselves a nasty virus...thank goodness avg warned me off more than once...quite the mess over there...anyway, enjoy your weekend!

Wow do I miss Parenthood and Private Practice--seriously Monday/Tuesday are write-offs for t.v right now..Anybody watch "The Middle???" Too funny! Sue has my hair and Brick is just too weird! lol I tried getting into the Carrie Diaries but it is just way too young for me--I like Top Chef but I can never pronounce what they are making..who eats that stuff? :-) I'm hooked in to survivor for now--mainly because little else is on--even my amazing race has a bunch of whiners this year....hope things improve tv wise...cold temps and bad tv are not a good combo!
Toronto night was fun posted pics on my blog if you want to have a look. Good food/fun money free gambling and it was something different to do

Too bad you couldn't have been here today, Cindy -- we hit 89°F. Let's see, that would be, what, 31 or 32 for you? A cool front is due tonight so we may not get out of the 60s tomorrow, which feels much better. I'm still playing nursemaid (and housekeeper) for everyone. Supposed to have a couple of freelance projects soon, though. Watching the Sabres when I can, as well as college basketball. My family watches hockey with me, and I watch hoops with them. Not too bad of a trade.  |

yes Fish and while you were sunbathing I ws freezing in -8 if I offer to help you help everybody can I come up for a visit? Basketball is one of the few sports I don't really care for but I can see it fun as a family thing ie side bet --can he hit the shot from mid-court?? some doozies lately shot wise on the sports shows...Shortened hockey season should make things interesting..I see the blue jays in spring training and say "who are these guys??" lol whole new team.
Don't work too hard and good luck with newprojects!

hey guys! Mom and I got a deal on a carribean cruise so I'm leaving tomorrow for 10 days...I'm so sorry I haven't finished my Edinburgh pics before starting on another trip. It's just there are a million pics and lots of video because of the miltary tattoo--1200 pics from the whole trip so it's been tricky selecting them too.
Anyway, I'll get back on track and do both slowly but surely--honestly I hardly know the itinerary for this one as it was pretty last minute. Aruba, Grenada, Bondaire, Princess Cayes , Dominica --never been to any of them so it's a new experience for me. Not sure about this kind of beach trip--we'll see
I've asked Fish to pop in if she can and I'm going to put up lots of extra pics so enjoy and I'll be back on the 28th!
We'll bring the netbook but we don't bother with access on the boat---we'll see about finding someplace to touch base...have a good week and a half and I'll see you all soon!

HELLO ALL!!! I'm HOOOOMMMEEE...good trip! Lots of sunshine and cruise was wonderful --wasn't blown over by the islands we visited but I will post stuff in my blog...we had the camera for all of the islands but unfortunately mom took the camera into the water (to take a pic of me) and got knocked over by a wave--goodbye camera! It got soaked and stopped working --didn't miss too many pics as we were done with islands but it was a bummer! Got a burn as sun was intense but it felt so good to feel warmth! Came home to snow/rain and wanted to go back. Full of donuts and too much food but loved the break
Thanks Fish for helping out! Back to posting for me on Saturday..hope you all have a great holiday weekend ...
