Fish, did you catch Abruzzi, Peter Stormare, in the Bud Light "Tiny Dancer" commercial? It's worth looking up (check the link I posted); it's one of the better ones.
WF is in the tv commercials for Drive. I don't have cable nor can I get CBS channels so I can't watch Terriers, True Blood, Walking Dead or The Mentalist. I can get Private Practice, but that show makes me want to stab my eyes out.
The CW is running Burn Notice; Silas played an arms dealers in a couple of eps. The role might be reoccurring. The series is still on S3.
Chicago Eight a gang film? I guess you are excused for being Canadian, Cindy. The Chicago Eight went on trial after the huge riots in that city during the Democratic convention there. All the hippie/anti-Vietnam-war generation was represented in those riots. WW should be good in that role.
Chase sort of disappeared. I watched a little to see Amaury, but the lead actress bugged me, like she was trying hard to be Holly Hunter/Saving Grace. (I have it on DVD!)
Can anyone remember the name of the PB cat and who killed her?

It was Bellick that had the cat killed I think, though we never saw it because the cat was just lying on the cot already dead when found. (can't remember her name but think it was something girly??)
What is burn notice about? Showcase airs it here and I can catch up via video on their site.
I probably knew the riot thing somewhere in the back of my mind, just forgot and it sounds all gangster:-)

Here's a list of "interesting facts" I found about prison break season 1 (I was looking up the cats name which I found out is Marilyn --I knew it was something girly!)
Interesting Questions, Facts, and Information
'Prison Break'- Season 1
Michael also wrote down a number from off of his arm. It was tattooed next to the two names. What was that number? "Prison Break"- "Pilot" Episode
11121147. The number turns out to be a part, or serial, number for the bolt he would need to make the allen wrench to use on his cell toilet. The names Schweitzer and Allen were brand names for the toilet and type of wrench.
Right before the cell shake down, Michael writes two names down on a piece of paper. Were those names Allen and Schweitzer? "Prison Break"- "Pilot" Episode
Yes. They were tattooed on his arm and able to be reflected back in a mirror, as not to be too noticeable. He had tattooed all the information he thought he'd need, including the prison blue prints, onto his body.
How old did Charles Westmoreland say he was? "Prison Break"- "Pilot" Episode
60. Charles and Michael were playing checkers when Michael brings up the idea of escaping. Charles told him that the idea would pass, as it does all inmates. He did admit that being 60 years old, and having 60 years left on his sentence, did cause him to ponder escape.
What kind of pharmaceutical does Michael need when Sara gets his blood tests back? "Prison Break"- "Pilot" Episode
insulin blocker. He asks the "local pharmacy" guy for an over the counter insulin blocker. He calls the drug either pugnag or fugnag, but I could not find any information on such a drug. He explains to the man he can't ask for it himself, because he is getting the insulin injections from the prison doctor already.
Who is the bishop that refuses to cooperate with the Secret Service, and later executed in bed? "Prison Break"- "Pilot" Episode
Bishop McMorrow. When asked for his help in the Lincoln Burrows case, the bishop refuses to lie. They try intimidation as well, and he says if they want to use information against him they can. They suggested he'd misappropriated church funds somewhat. Since he would never agree to lie, they executed him instead. Chelcie Ross plays Bishop McMorrow. Ross can be seen in "Hoosiers", "Major League", "Basic Instinct", "Primary Colors", and "The Gift". He also played his Captain Talcott role from "Basic Instinct" in the season three episode of "The Sopranos" called "Amour Fou".
Warden Henry Pope knew that Michael was a structural engineer, though he listed himself as unemployed. What structure did the warden need Michael's help with creating a model of? "Prison Break"- "Pilot" Episode
Taj Mahal. On his first request, the warden was denied help by Michael. Michael wisely saved the favor for a time when the exchange would be equaled. After his fight with John Abruzzi, Michael needed the warden to keep him out of solitary confinement. So, he offered help building the Taj Mahal. Henry Pope wanted to give this to his wife in June, for their 40th wedding anniversary. Stacy Keach plays the warden of Fox River.
There is a man in the prison that people believe to be the long lost D.B. Cooper. His name is Charles Westmoreland and his a pet cat named what? "Prison Break"- "Pilot" Episode
Marylin. He explains to Michael that the cat was grandfathered in, back from the time inmates were allowed to have some pets inside the prison. She is a basic domestic short-haired tabby. Michael strikes up a conversation with Charles first by claiming to know his wife before she died. He said he worked with her as a teacher in Boston, and provided all the right answers when Charles tested him. He brought up the D.B. Cooper comparison afterward.
Who is the mobster that Michael needs help from to get a job in the prison? "Prison Break"- "Pilot" Episode
John Abruzzi. Michael comes to him, offers a paper swan, and explains he has information to share. All Michael wants in return is a P.I. position. John is not impressed by Michael. The two end up getting into a fight in the prison yard, which slightly impresses John. Later, John hires Michael as a P.I. He explains it is to keep his enemies as close as possible. The fabulous Peter Stormare plays the once top dog mobster. Peter has a long career under his belt. You may remember seeing him in "Armageddon" as the Russian Cosmonaut Lev Andropov, or as Satan in "Constantine". He even guest-starred in season one of "Joey".
When is Lincoln Burrows scheduled to be executed for the murder of the Vice-President's brother? "Prison Break"- "Pilot" Episode
May 11. Michael has to get in, execute his well thought out plan, and break out before Linc's date with death. He has already researched out the inmates that he'll need to use to get out. After his tattoo is completed in the very beginning of the episode, he tears down his windows covered with news articles about various people and facts he needs to have this plan play out. One article is on diabetes, which he pretends to have in order to gain access to the hospital wing.
Michael's attorney, Veronica Donovan, knew him personally as well. How were the two connected? "Prison Break"- "Pilot" Episode
she was Lincoln's high-school sweetheart. Veronica and Lincoln were a couple as teenagers. Lincoln never really got over the fact that she left to go to college, and he fathered a son with Lisa. She says to Michael that she did give him a chance when she got back from college, but that Lincoln destroyed it. She is now engaged to be married. Jessalyn Gilsig plays Linc's ex-wife Lisa Burrows. She also played the sex addict Gina on FX's "Nip/Tuck".
How much time did the judge give Michael, and how soon did she say he could be paroled? "Prison Break"- "Pilot" Episode
5 years, half that time. He seemed pleased at her sentence and went on to the Fox River State Penitentiary in Joliet, Illinois.
What did Michael do during the bank hold-up that got him sent to prison? "Prison Break"- "Pilot" Episode
discharged his weapon. Michael is an extraordinary man. The judge did not understand why someone of his detailed education and experience committed the crime, plead no contest to it, and fired his weapon and never hurt anyone. Michael knew exactly what he needed to do during the hold up in order to be sent to prison. He fired into the ceiling twice, once right before the authorities arrived and once after.
Who plays our hero Michael Scofield, out to save his falsely convicted brother Lincoln Burrows? "Prison Break"- "Pilot" Episode
Wentworth Miller. This one should have been very easy, due to the fact that I added Wentworth's name under the header for this subcategory. Wentworth was born in Oxfordshire, England in 1972. Some fans may remember him from one small part in season two of "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" when he played a steroid enraged swimmer named Gage in "Go Fish". He was also on a couple of episodes of "Popular" in 2000. I remember him specifically from his role as Joan's anti-hero in the end of "Joan of Arcadia" in 2005. He makes a small guest appearance on Jennifer Love Hewitt's 2005 debut series "Ghost Whisperer" as well.
"Cute Poison"- What two items did Michael need to make his cute poison? "Prison Break"- Michael Is Behind Schedule
masonry cleaner and root control. Cute poison was an abbreviation for CuSo and PO, copper sulfate and phosphoric acid. Michael went into the prison's toxic control center and handed the inmate on duty a carton of cigarettes to let him in and steal what he needed. He was able to retrieve the masonry cleaner before officer Officer Bellick caught him. It is later that John Abruzzi delivers the root cleaner to him. He puts each ingredient inside a toothpaste tube. He uses the chemicals, one at a time, to create a corrosive agent that eats metals. He lets the stuff loose inside the infirmary drain and at the end of the episode is able to break through the brick behind his cell toilet. After Haywire is removed, Fernando rejoins Michael and offers help in the escape. He sings very loudly and causes a distraction so that Michael can kick the brick back into the open space behind the wall. Michael is no longer behind schedule.
"Cute Poison"- Where were Michael and Haywire located when Haywire figures out that Michael's body art is a pattern? "Prison Break"- Michael Is Behind Schedule
showers. Haywire was very interested in Michael's tattoos. He even shared an embarrassing story from his school days to get Michael to reveal a secret to him. It isn't until they are in the showers that he can see the entire tattoo. He instantly recognizes a pattern under the top artwork and draws it out on several sheets of paper. Michael knows that he has to get Haywire out of his cell as soon as possible. He steals the man's toothpaste, in order to get a carrying case for his chemicals, and this sets Haywire off. Michael injures himself and calls to the guards for help. They remove Haywire just as he is saying, " He's got the pathway on his body. It leads somewhere." As the drag a struggling Haywire from the cell, he claims it is the pathway to hell.
"Cell Test"- What present, taken in the previous episode "Allen", did John Abruzzi have for the visiting mobster? "Prison Break"- Michael Is Behind Schedule
Michael's toes. John handed the toes over in a little box, and added that Michael would not talk. Later in the episode, he realized there was no way pain would get what he needed from Michael. While I am sure Michael was prepared that he would experience violence, he still seemed mighty shaken by the toe removal incident.
"Allen"- Did Lincoln confess to Veronica he was high on drugs the night he was framed for the murder? "Prison Break"- Michael Is Behind Schedule
Yes. Linc was nervous about killing the man. He did not want to do it, but Crab assured him the man was a low life, or scum bag, drug dealer. If Linc did this, Crab agreed to wipe the $90,000 slate clean. During Linc's story to Veronica, we see him smoking a joint while preparing to approach the car. So, marijuana was his high of choice on that night. Linc has never been shown to be a drug abuser, so this was a mild surprise for me. Linc went on to say he never pulled the trigger on his gun that night inside the parking garage.
"Allen"- Known to people by Crab, what is the last name of the man who could have exonerated Lincoln? "Prison Break"- Michael Is Behind Schedule
Simmons. Crab set Lincoln up to take the fall for Steadman's death. His girlfriend Leticia finally tells Veronica Donovan as much of the story as she knows. These men, she feels like they are government men, come to Crab and buy off Linc's $90,000 debt. The exchange is that Crab sends Linc to the parking garage when they need him there. He tells Linc it is to get rid of a scum bag drug dealer. This part of the story Linc tells Veronica himself.
"Allen"- What is the name of the man Linc is convicted of murdering? "Prison Break"- Michael Is Behind Schedule
Terrance Steadman. Terrance is the Vice President's brother, and Lincoln worked for his company. Two weeks after a public altercation between the two men, Lincoln is set up for his murder. There is a parking garage video tape, and this is what convicted him. The truth was that Steadman was dead before Lincoln got to the man's car.
Just as "Riots, Drills and The Devil" ends Michael realizes that he has to get to the infirmary to save whom? "Prison Break"- Getting Back On Schedule
Dr. Tancredi. She'd kept a level head and was treating inmates during the riots, but they finally decided to attack her instead. She locked herself into the adjoining room, but as the episode ended several violent men were making their way in with her. She is the daughter of the governor and Warden Pope is under a lot of pressure to get her out safely. Michael wants to save her because she is a decent human being that he cares about, and he is not really a criminal at all.
Did Teddy threaten to tell everyone he could about the impending escape? "Prison Break"- Getting Back On Schedule
Yes. He demanded to either be a part of the escape or he'd sing like Johnny Cash. Abruzzi made it clear that Teddy could be killed, but Teddy swore he'd tell as many people as possible before his blood ran out.
Michael and Sucre return to their cell after some time spent drilling. Who did they NOT find in their cell when they returned? "Prison Break"- Getting Back On Schedule
A newbie, or fish, named Seth. Seth was given to Teddy earlier in the episode, after Teddy returned from the infirmary. He was not present when Michael and Sucre returned to their cell. Instead they find Teddy inside with a badly beaten rookie C.O. and Abruzzi watching over the two of them.
What piece of good news did Michael receive in "Riots, Drills and The Devil"? "Prison Break"- Getting Back On Schedule
he'd be able to see his brother Linc in the infirmary. The prison doctor came up to the fence and told Michael she'd found out that Lincoln was his brother. She said she could, and would, arrange for Michael's appointments to start at the end of Lincoln's weekly physical. That way they could at least see each other in passing.
We find out in "Riots, Drills and The Devil" that Michael is going to use which kitchen utensil to gain access to a defunct water pipe? "Prison Break"- Getting Back On Schedule
hand blender/egg beater. He uses his tattoo of the devil face to project hugely onto the wall inside the hidden walkways of the prison. He points out each place on the devil's reflection that he and Sucre need to use the hand blender on. I always called this device an egg beater as a child, and Sucre also uses this same term. Sucre is nervous at first because the devil is a superstitious symbol to him. This pipe does contain active gas lines, according to Michael, so they do need to be very careful.
The Secret Service are continuously reporting to and taking orders from a mysterious woman via the telephone. When she did not get her transfer of Michael Scofield, what did she order next? "Prison Break"- Getting Back On Schedule
the immediate death of Lincoln Burrows. She was not at all happy to hear about the failure of Michael's transfer, so she ordered that Lincoln be murdered as soon as possible. She said that the electric chair was not the only way to take a life in prison. Patricia Wettig plays the mysterious lady. She is listed as the Cutter. In one episode she was the Garlic Cutter and in another the Pepper Cutter. She has to be the one behind the murder of Terrance Steadman, maybe his wife?
Warden Pope was almost forced, by coercion, to transfer Michael from Fox River. What medical condition did Michael invent that "precluded him from transfer"? "Prison Break"- Getting Back On Schedule
sinusitis. Michael asked Charlie Westmoreland how one could go about forcing the prison to keep them inside. He needed a legal way to prevent the Secret Service from forcing Warden Pope's hand in his transfer. He wrote out a motion to stay his transfer, but the service blackmailed Henry Pope with information from his past. In the end, Pope decided to allow Michael to stay and reveal the truth to his wife himself.
Of "English, Fitz, or Percy", which was the one to use? "Prison Break"- Getting Back On Schedule
Fitz. Michael had to get on the roof of the prison in order to be sure. Abruzzi offered to give his opinion, but Michael knew he had to get up there and make sure himself. He stayed behind in Warden Pope's office, and used a previously locked route to get atop the roof. His absence was reported, causing an escape warning to activate the prison staff. Michael watched English and Fitz Streets and Percy Avenue to see which would be left free of police cars once the alarm had been sounded for an escape. It turned out that Fitz was left empty. Michael made his way back into the warden's office in time to avoid revealing his intent.
Who did Lincoln supposedly kill? "Prison Break"
The Vice President's brother. Lincoln was wrongly sentenced to death row for the murder of the Vice President's brother.
Whereabouts in Michael's cell is the hole in the wall? "Prison Break"
Behind the sink/toilet. Michael is planning the escape into the pipes behind his cell wall, but he has to make a hole first. The hole he creates is behind the toilet/sink. The water use for the cell is combined into a dual unit.
Who has the blueprints to the prison tattooed into the torso? "Prison Break"
Michael. Before Michael gets himself into jail he gets the blueprints of the prison tattooed into his torso, he has the blueprints because he helped design the prison.
What was LJ caught with, by the police? "Prison Break"
Dope. LJ was caught by the police, in possession of dope, and he was let off with a warning.

Cindy, that's way too much information! You should have started a contest thread, one question per week. I got dizzy by the fourth paragraph! Heh.
As for Marilyn, did Bellick really kill her or did T-Bag? Question of the week, gang!

What a great article! He sounds like such a nice guy. I'll add him to "i want to have lunch with him one day" list. LOL Lots of people pass through Toronto these days. Chris Plummer is here to do Barrymore right now, and I tell you, the guy doesn't do a bad interview. So classy and seems to love sticking close to Toronto and area. I is also at Strattord in "The tempest" Rave reviews for both. It's the quiet ones that seem to just go out and get it done the impress me the most.

Wow--more cop shows...I used to watch men in trees and I don't remember the other guy...
Hmmm..wonder if he'll like Montreal..far cry from L.A...
At least he is finally in something new. Where do I get the job that lets me take years off and I can still support myself in style...I'll be curious how he looks as new pics come out...old Went or "we hardly recognize you" Went?

What I want to know is how many times will Cindy try to get on set? You mentioned Buffalo the other day -- have you heard that the Buffalo Niagra Film Festival is starting a "Walk of Fame," and WF is the first recipient? Very nice. So in case you find yourself in Buffalo in early April: www.buffaloniagarafilmfestival.com/index.html

LOL Quebec is a fair distance and between you and I, they are known as snobs..lol Most will only speak French. Quebec has tried to separate from Canada a few times now (I think the majority of us would be happy to show them the door) but whatever "movement" gets traction for that decade, usually dies just short of them being successful. They want to be known as a "distinct society" blah blah blah. They're the reason Canada is considered bi-lingual and why we have 4 French channels on regular cable and why we have to listen to French/English options everytime we call a government office. :-)
They're always unhappy about something (although it's a beautiful city) Maybe Went will love it, his Mom is French right? Maybe he can smooth the waters...If pretty Went shows up, I have no doubt there will be a "meeting of the minds!" :-)

P.S. I always forget that WF is from there ...I tell you, I can see why it inspires people to get out...don't get me wrong, I always comment on how polite/helpful the mall staff are (very service oriented) but the town itself looks like it could be in the 50's and nothing seems to change. It almost seems to be the town that time forgot. And that constant snow in the winter would be enough for me to want to get out..lol
Go Bill..walk that hall of fame walk! :-)

Funny you mentioned the French-speaking telephone options -- every automated phone system down here starts with "para espanol …"
When I first started listening to the Sabres' games online, I clicked on the Buffalo link for a game against Montreal. Well, the person who set up the hyperlink goofed and I ended up with a French broadcast. So I clicked on the Montreal link, hoping that it would give me the Buffalo announcers -- nope. French again. I took a couple of years in high school and college (I don't care for Spanish), but I'm not good enough to follow a hockey game.
I do want to see the Sabres play at home some day, but not during "blizzard season!"

Cindy, your description of Montreal sort of describes TEXAS. And Fish, all, and I mean ALL, of the phone messages around here give you a "Para Espanol ..." option, if that's any comfort. It would be refreshing to have some in French instead. I studied Spanish for four years, but the accents and dialects of native speakers throw me, plus Mexicans tend to laugh at my terrible accent. It's very humbling. Anyway: Season 3 of Burn Notice (which I just finished watching) features Chris Vance, aka PB's Whistler, as a "handler." He's still good looking, although he plays the role of "Gilroy" a little too fey for my taste, even if the scenes of Michael and him in the hot tub were nice eye candy all around. He's in for several episodes before his character line (literally) ends. "Wild Thing" was on the movie channel here last week, starring a 20-something Rob, not Robert, Knepper. Check his outfit: 4.bp.blogspot.com/_K4Uzn2jaAXQ/TFu30kvf7MI/AAAAAAAAALU/WL0jXkMT-d0/s1600/wild_thing5.jpgYes, that's what he wore throughout, shortie-shorts and a Wild Thing 70s hairdo. Speaking of RK, has anyone seen Breakout Kings on A&E? It's created by the PB people. Check it out: www.aetv.com/breakout-kings/I believe T-Bag had a guest role, or is having/had a guest appearance. Not sure which since I don't have cable so can't watch.

Ahh Yes Ginger--Mom already let me know it's pretty good. I'm still watching brothers and sisters and it's the same time, but told her I would watch online. Can you give me an overview of burn notice? Firemen? I can watch that online too but don't want to get into it til I know what it's about.
Have I mentioned I love highspeed? I love watching tv stuff online. I got digital cable, and they failed to mention that I can't "watch one record another" anymore unless I pay for their dvr. Thanks, I pay you enough money!
LOL at "Rob" much cooler actually.
