Saw that our "parent" board, TWOP, is ending. Users are posting about other forums to join. Sad, but I doubt any of them will be as successful. I know that most of the folks who came here left for Facebook. Just thought I'd let y'all know.

hey guys, wasn't sure if you'd heard that a lot of twop users are going to go over to a site called previously tv-if you search it, you'll see the board along with a forums list-apparently started by some former twop people--let's hope the egos stay in check over there..lol

happy long weekend all!! going to be rainy here for the duration (that's why we pretty much do our fireworks on july 1st here--this weekend is the normal washout time) enjoy the extra time off!

As some of you may know, today's the last day the TWOP forums will be online. Lots of people are posting their thanks and goodbyes over there (including me), so I think this is a good time to thank Cindy again for hosting this board for us. Our numbers may have dwindled over the years, but it's comforting to know this Yard is still here for us to hang out in.

yes, it will be odd to be without twop--great discussion place minus some power hungry mods...It's too bad this place never turned into more of a "going concern" but I recognize that most feel facebook is sufficient for staying in touch/want other show content. (either that or you all went through the trap door into the secret chatroom. :-) Anyway, glad I could fill the gap and help keep some people connected.

happy dad's day to those of you that ave those irreplaceable great dads -for the rest of us , I've dubbed today friend day!! Had an awesome lunch at the beach with a friend yesterday and since neither of us bother with father's day we decided to have friends's day-so give a special/hug/ thanks to all of the friends that have been there for you:-)

well, yanni was awesome-what a talent. There is nothing quite as cool as piano/orchestra under a full moon in one of my fav cities. The traffic was brutal (the whole city is under construction) but finishing a night with a beautiful skyline (the cn tower was changing colour) just rocks. If you ever get a chance to see him in concert-do it. He's eccentric and I'm going to guess pretty hard to work for (perfectionist) but boy, can he play. Seems to love what he does, so there you go.
