and the rob ford fiasco continues...honestly, never seen an addict in such deep denial...clowns at city hall don't help either....nobody should get paid for doing these "jobs" unreal...can't seem to escape it either...

Happy Thanksgiving, U.S. folks!
Sorry to have been AWOL -- threw a party for my parents' anniversary last weekend and the prep ate up all my time the past couple of weeks. It was nice, and totally worth the effort!
Trying to stay warm -- can you believe we are actually having seasonally cold temps here? We had a lot of rain last week, too. Yay!

are you all still alive after the big sales??? was in Toronto for a bit..nutty even here..heaping mounds of clothes ect...security everywhere for high end jewel stores/long lines ect...online shopping is MUCH easier for this girl...:-)

hey all, hope you all had a very nice holiday! Poor Toronto is still waiting for power in some areas after an ice storm but everyone seems in pretty good spirits as the community has come together--Fortunately, it didn't impact Mom and I as the worst hit areas are far enough away, but lots of downed trees/ect in the area-truly does look like a "winter wonderland" but could have been dangerous. Anyway, I\m going to be taking an archery lesson--pretty excited about it--worth a shot in the chair...I always play on Wii and enjoy it, so looking forward to taking a shot at it. Back to pics tomorrow--enjoy your weekend!

Hey guys, I'm off to Jamaica from Sunday to Sunday--Mom won it a few months ago and the date kind of snuck up on us:-) Little nervous about it as place gets mixed reviews and we are traveling with a group of about 50 (winners) so have no idea what to expect. Resort has wifi but only in the lobby, and it looks like it can be pretty hit and miss. Glad to get out of here because it's so cold, but it's weird to go on a trip you haven't planned and Jam itself gets very mixed reviews. We'll see--weather should be 80 plus so I'm all for that--have a good week--I'll post extra pics, check in if/when I can and ask Fish to stop in! Wish me luck --and if any of you know how to stop the cold/snow please do!
