so, either I missed part 2 of bill's season finale or it ws thrown over for football again...you can tell the network could care less..new show and it was pushed out twice in 10 weeks...
The Mike J Fox one should be interesting shocked he is working full time and I will miss him on good wife...

you can tell fall is on the way here, I actually cooked a pot of meatballs in the crockpot today--yikes! Also discovered it was on warm when I thought it was on high--good thing I caught it! Late dinner tonight..lol

so I watched the series finale of do no harm last night --I know it was just summer filler but I enjoyed it right up until the last episode...where there was the inevitable "twist." No doubt under the dome will try to pull something too in the last 2 eppies...
writers for tv never seem to get that good writing outshines gimmicks everytime

Yeah, most TV writers should go back to school. You know, so they know what a plot is, and how to develop characters.  I wish it was cool enough here to make chili and stew … I could, but it doesn't seem right when the temps flirt with triple digits. We've been having a little thunder and lightning, but no rain. They tease us by putting it in the forecast, but nothing at my house yet. Sorry you missed the end of Bill's show, Cindy -- have you looked online to see if you can watch? I thought the last two hours were better than the previous eight. Glad they are filming Season 2 soon, but wonder if NBC will air it here next summer. Have a good week! |

ahhh so it did air..ok, good to know. I can't watch it through nbc it blocks content to canada and no canadian sites will have it since it won't air for a bit I'll just wait it out... triple digits STILL??? wow. You can have our rain/thunderstorms--had them all season.... they got a season 2 already wow again:-) |

weekend of junk food at mom's --supposed to head to toronto for a nice birthday dinner but it poured all day so stayed in and played wii bowling/cycling..followed by a trip to the mall :-) toronto next week I hope! Happy Monday...

nice Toronto day today--dinner out for my birthday, some awesome homemade peanut butter chocolate ice-cream, and a quick trip to Yorkville where the stars shop when they come to T.O. Prada, Kors, Tiffany ect...never been there before--interesting mix of people --right by the university--wonder if it's done on purpose, gear the 20 somethings toward thinking about the "good" life. Honestly can't even imagine it. Crazy cyclists in the city, speed right along with traffic, most of them wearing black...
bustling with life anytime of the day/night and so diverse...it's nice to live reasonably close though the construction of highrises is insane...EVERYWHERE hogging the view....

anyone else enjoying orange is the new black??? we got ourselves some decent shows this yr...
mike j fox--not bad-lol at real life wife in first eppy--wondering why they just couldn't keep it real and cast her as the wife....
trophy wife is decent and is it me or is the goldbergs an "80's" version of the wonder years??
good to see allison janney on my screen again in "mom" think she is sooo underrated...I still want a west wing reunion....
grey's is off and running and I can't quite give up on good wife..so, some stuff to watch..could be worse!
