Did you enjoy Bill Fish??? Yup, we are getting 90's ourselves for a few days, then it is moving out apparently. I'm sure Calgary would be happy to give you some water. My uncle lives there and they have no clue when they will even be able to get back downtown with all the flooding. Lots of people opening their homes though, so that's great (ads up for places to stay for free with kids/animals all over kijiji)
When you're done at your place Fish, you are welcome in mine---my on-line social psychology course got moved to august because of some software program ---meanwhile he (the teacher) keeps adding to the list of reading resourses--I hope I'm not in over my head.

Well, under the doime was pretty good--typical S King, creepy but good...Devious Maids last night on Lifetime was good too but it's Marc Cherry--instead of Desperate Housewives, it's Desperate Maids with twists/turns ect...kinda glad I only have it on free preview so I won't be tempted to continue with it because really, DS was soooo over the top by the end (and middle ect...) You can see he just tweeked the characters and ran with it again.

Happy Canada Day weekend all!! She turns 146 this weekend and doesn't look a day over 25..:-)
remember according to Fish, they are re-airing Billl's new show tomorrow night, so if you missed it and want to know what the deal is, check your listings---humid here but gray/rainy I must say, so far, this summer is bllahhhh..lol

We hit 106 yesterday, and it's muggy, so no fun leaving the house. Been catching up on shows we recorded when Mom was in the hospital. Sounds like a good way to spend the weekend, since it's too hot for anything else. |

yes, grrrrr be gone with you!! 106??? urgh. tv sounds like a good distraction...I watched Bill's show tonight...creepy...big so so over here...I'll keep watching since it's only 9 eppies..Donald S reminds me of a wizard...Harry Potter's Dumbledore??? lol Out at Mom's for the night in case we want to do something tomorrow...I slowed down my internet in the name of saving 10 bucks a month and it's awwwwffulll....blah...soooo slooooowww

nice sunny day today, caught fireworks tonight in the local neighbourhood where it seemed the streets were enjoying setting off their own stuff. "Organized" events are tomorrow and supposed to rain...today was a beauty though...
crossing the line good tonight though I worry about accents/mumbling/city jumping Trouble understanding many and I think story suffers for it.

I have to laugh...for all the years I have been on facebook, I've only ever posted my cats' pictures. Honestly, living alone, I try to be careful about that sort of thing but, I've kept the same facebook friends for yrs and I set privacy settings so I posted 1 cover photo tonight...I have to lol at everyones' reactions..Seriously, most of these people hardly say hello and I feel like I just babble away to myself on there (hmmm it's kinda like here, maybe I should take the hint...) Anyway, they all come out of the woodwork..
"Nice pic, you haven't changed ect...all very flattering yet all I can think is "where the heck have you people been for the last five years??" lol Seriously, very strange.

and today I learned about camera card readers--seriously, I really should have figured this out sooner...Since Mom and I share a camera I've always just waited for her to transfer them to me but if I had the card reader I could do it myself..I only figured this out because I'm bidding on an old model cannon (Mom's old one --I really don't like the new model she bought and this camera (since it's currently 6 bucks) is sans cord. $10 card reader and voila! transfer your pics to the computer without software or wearing down a battery...
I told you I was always behind in technology!
